Step Operation
The Stayco PL1200 fold up platform step is designed to mount on the side of either a flat deck trailer or a rigid with a deck height of up to 1250mm. When deployed, the staircase runs alongside the vehicle body rather than sticking out at 90 degrees. When stowed, the platform surface forms part of the side rail and is capable of withstanding the regulation impact loads. The step unit is simple to operate and takes less than three seconds to deploy or stow. It consists of a galvanised steel frame with optional powder coat paint finish. The ribbed treads, stair pivot links and side arms are anodised aluminium. All pivot joints incorporate nylon bushes and HT steel pivot bolts. The platform deployment is assisted by gas springs.Warranty
